Technical and Quality Supervisor
Temporary position until June 2020 with a view to being made permanent following the outcome of a current business development opportunity
Hours: 30 hours per week (minimum 15 hours per week will be considered)
Salary: £24,184 – £26,400 dependent on experience
We are looking to recruit a Technical and Quality Supervisor (TQS) to join our existing team of three TQS’s responsible for supporting all our paid staff and volunteers in delivering high quality information and advice to residents across Dudley Borough. The workforce to be supported comprises of Information Hub Facilitators, Contact Centre Assessors, Universal Credit Advisers, Generalist Advisers and Case Workers.
This role is not a management role so people without management experience can apply but candidates will need to demonstrate that they have the skills to ensure that the technical competence and quality of advice delivered by our workforce to clients is to our highest standards.
In addition, they will support the Service delivery managers and Advice services managers in the day to day smooth running of our services.
You will:
- Have an in-depth knowledge and background in the advice sector
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to case check generalist/specialist advisor/caseworker files
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to check client cases to ensure the advice meets the national standards required and is of excellent quality
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to give feedback to individuals, provide support and motivate staff and volunteers
