To support service users from vulnerable groups in daily activities at the farm/ Gardens.
Activities may include horticulture, forestry, conservation, animal care, nature-based crafts and cookery.
To adhere to policies and procedures and undertake any necessary training relevant to the post.
To lead or assist in new areas of development and projects undertaken at the gardens/ farm.

Commitment:
We would ask for a commitment of 1 day per week.
DBS required, criminal convictions would need to be assessed on an individual basis.
We do not currently pay volunteer expenses.
Skills:
Experience of supporting vulnerable people in activities, or a willingness to develop skills and experience within this area.
Skills in green care activities to include horticulture, animal husbandry, conservation, crafts or cookery are desired but not essential. However, applicants must enjoy being outdoors and participating in outdoor activities.
