Who do you talk to if you have a problem?
Your Mum, your brother, your friend? Bet you have someone you can trust to talk to if life’s not going well. Have you ever thought what you would have done when you were growing up, if you had no-one you could trust, maybe because they wouldn’t understand, would judge you or would tell other people?
This is a position that many children and young people find themselves in and YOU can help by being that person they can talk to, helping them by offering a listening ear to talk through issues and try to resolve them.
Mentor Link has over 200 volunteers who help support vulnerable and distressed children and young people across the West Midlands each week. We pride ourselves in being a local, friendly and child centred organisation offering a variety of volunteering opportunities to the local community.
