If the glove fits #chipintuesday #takethechallenge

17-6-13I think this week’s item is fairly self-explanatory. Gloves are usually worn to tackle outdoor tasks or DIY, so if you have these skills why not use them to help make your local community a better place to live?

You could help to keep your local community clean and tidy and tackle jobs such as litter picking or helping with fence repairs in your local park, green spaces or nature reserves.  Saltwells Nature Reserve has regular Sunday morning activity sessions which you can just turn up to help with.

If you prefer something a little more structured Baggeridge has volunteers to help the Park Rangers, as does the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre.  You could also help preserve your heritage and volunteer with the National Trust at Clent, Kinver Edge or Dudmaston.

Have gloves will travel!
