You are not alone! Networking rules! @DudleyCVS @WeAreBCR #wiseupwednesdays

Sometimes managing volunteers can be a lonely place to be.  Although you are surrounded by your lovely volunteers, sometimes it would be good to have someone to run things by, or seek a second opinion.  Your colleagues are I’m sure absolutely wonderful, but sometimes they don’t manage volunteers themselves and understand some of the issues you may be facing.

So where can I go for help/support/information?

I am holding a networking event for Small Charities week on 17th June just for Dudley borough groups for any small charity [under £1.5 million] and social enterprises. Sorry it’s not for statutory sector groups or businesses as it’s a themed event.  Click here to book your place   If this is popular I may well start running a regular networking event for all volunteer-involving groups, so please watch this space!

Did you know there was an independent support network for volunteer managers based in Dudley borough? It’s open to anyone from the Black Country area who manages volunteers and its quarterly meetings provide ideal opportunities for networking, support, sharing good practice, obtaining information and training.
