Fixers, the charity that gives young people a voice, are on the hunt for passionate young people who want to make a difference to those around them and to others that might hear about their doing. We work with young people, 16-25, across the UK on Social Action campaigns which affect at least one other person. Using the issues that young people face, we help them turn that into a campaign they can use to raise awareness, share information, or campaign for change. To date, we have worked with over 18000 young people on issues such as homelessness, drugs and alcohol, racism, disabilities, LGBT issues, Local Politics, Volunteering, Road Safety … the list is endless.
The only condition we have is that their campaign must have an impact on at least one person, in some way.
We are funded by the Big Lottery, amongst others, which enables us to work with young people and organisations that work with them for free! No cost! Which in turn, allows us to work with young people in every postcode across the UK and with some of the most hard to reach young people.
