OPP OF THE DAY: Health for Life Volunteer, The Conservation Volunteers

We have numerous food growing and community garden sites under construction around Birmingham and volunteers will help build these sites ready for the community to use. Volunteers will work with a wide range of people, whilst gaining and implementing practical, hands-on skills.We need individuals who are interested in working with people who have a diverse range of needs. Volunteering will involve participating in gardening, food growing and conservation activities. With the view of taking further responsibilities as the you gain more experience.

Excellent people and communication skills is essential for this role.
We are looking for people with a passion for the environment and a commitment to improving the health and well-being of volunteers.
Horticulture/Gardening skills desirable but not essential as volunteers will receive training.
